Haven’t posted in a while- but today I’ll be blogging about the L.A Girl PRO.conceal which is used for concealing/ highlighting, contouring and colour correcting!
To start of, we need to understand what colour correcting is…
Firstly if you have any redness on your face and blemishes, then the colour green is your best friend for this as it will erase the appearance of redness on your face.
If you have dark circles underneath your eyes (I do!) and look like you’ve been hit by someone then orange is the colour you’ll hide your blue/dark circles with.
And lastly (I personally haven’t used this one) if you have yellowness on your face – violet will get rid of it.
I don’t always colour correct because it does add time to your make-up routine, but when I do, it does make a difference.
So as mentioned before I use the L.A. Girl PRO.conceal in the colour ”Orange Corrector” and apply it under my eyes BEFORE foundation is applied.
After, I use the L.A. Girl PRO.conceal in the colour “Green Corrector” wherever I have redness. So on the sides of my nose, pimples/blemishes etc.
Finally you apply your foundation as normal, For concealer I use the L.A. Girl PRO.conceal in the colour ”Natural” (My absolute FAV concealer!). I apply it under my eyes in an upside down triangle shape and anywhere else where you need extra coverage and want to highlight such as bridge of nose, a bit on forehead etc.
And then if you want to contour using a creamy texture instead of a powder you can use the L.A. Girl PRO.conceal in the colour ”Beautiful Bronze” – carving out your cheek bones.
Love the L.A. Girl make-up range!
